Elyse is ten years old and is in Grade 5 at Molesworth Primary School. She loves spending time with her family and her pets, a Golden Retriever and a talking cockatiel. Her hobbies are taking photos, anything creative, playing netball and cross-country running. Elyse enjoys going to musicals, the ballet, theatre productions and concerts, and loves dancing, singing and acting. She has danced with Jenina’s Dance Workshop for six years. Beauty and the Beast is Elyse’s second musical production, having previously played the role of young Cosette in Les Misérables in March this year. Elyse feels lucky to have been in two great productions and she is looking forward to more!
Marieka is nine years old and earlier this year she performed in the Tasmanian Theatre Unit Trust production of Les Misérables, appearing in the role of young Eponine and as an urchin child. She takes dancing lessons with Jenina Evans at Jenina’s Dance Workshop and also studies singing with Ian Williams at ExitLeft. She is very excited to be given the chance to perform on the Theatre Royal stage once again as Chip in Beauty and the Beast.

Beauty and the Beast is Madeleine’s third show. When she was four years old she made her first appearance for Hobart Rep in Peter Pan at the Playhouse. She played a puppy, wearing a full body costume and mask, and amongst other things bravely chased a wolf in Neverland. Her second show was The Wind in the Willows for Hobart Rep when she was five, playing the roles of Rose Rabbit and Mary Mouse. Madeleine has danced since she was three years old with Rompers and since 2008 with Body Language Dance Studio. At 18 months she modelled for the David Jones Christmas Catalogue and she has appeared in two television commercials.
